“The Protection of Designations of Origin and Geographical Indications on Wines in the European Union Law” Presentation:

The module coordinator, Dr.Didem Özgür participated to Third Conference on Current Developments in European Union Law on 08 May 2019 in Research Center for European Communities, Ankara University and presented her paper called “Avrupa Birliği Hukukunda Şaraplar Üzerindeki Menşe Adlarının ve Coğrafi İşaretlerin Korunması (The Protection of Designations of Origin and Geographical Indications on Wines in the European Union Law-in Turkish).” Abstract of the paper was published in the proceedings.

The module coordinator, Dr.Didem Özgür participated to International Aegean Interdisciplinary Innovative Scientific Research Symposium from 26-27 March 2019 in Izmir, Turkey and presented her paper called “The Protection of Geographical Indications and the Designations of Origin on Agricultural Products and Foodstuffs in the European Union”. Dr.Didem Özgür participated to International Workshop on Intellectual Property Law in Perspective of Economic Growth and Wealth Creation funded by Katip Çelebi Newton Fund, British Council from 16-19 August 2017 in Izmir, Turkey and presented her paper titled  “Which Principle is the Most Convenient Solution When Solving the Disputes Between Trade Marks and Geographical indications? Dr.Didem Özgür’s and Prof.Dr. Beraat Özçelik’s co-authored article ‘Coğrafi İşaretlerin Çevreyi ve Biyolojik Çeşitliliği Koruma İşlevi (The Function of Geographical Indications in Protecting Enviroment and Biyological Variety-in Turkish) was presented in Food, Metabolism & Health: Bioactive Components and Natural Additives Congress in 28 November 2016 in Istanbul.
