Dr.Didem Özgür participated to International Workshop on Intellectual Property Law in Perspective of Economic Growth and Wealth Creation funded by Katip Çelebi Newton Fund, British Council from 16-19 August 2017 in Izmir, Turkey and presented her paper titled  “Which Principle is the Most Convenient Solution When Solving the Disputes Between Trade Marks and Geographical indications? Coexistence or ‘First in Time, First in Right’ Principle?” at the workshop.

Dr.Didem Özgür’s and Prof.Dr. Beraat Özçelik’s co-authored article ‘Coğrafi İşaretlerin Çevreyi ve Biyolojik Çeşitliliği Koruma İşlevi (The Function of Geographical Indications in Protecting Enviroment and Biyological Variety-in Turkish) was presented in Food, Metabolism & Health: Bioactive Components and Natural Additives Congress in 28 November 2016 in Istanbul.
